This month I have encouraged you to keep it simple. When it come to developing a business model: limit your choices, sketch out your ideas, get clear about where you are going or – in leadership terms – get clear about your vision.
For emerging entrepreneurs, those of you just starting out, keeping it simple is the key to getting it done. Too much information, too much thinking about your business model and you will find yourself stuck.
Once you’ve done the personal exploration to help you identify the business that will, not only make money, but also enhance your life in the ways you want it to be, then it is time to develop a profitable business model. This is where you can choose to make it hard or make it simple. I vote for simple.
I offer guidance on completing a simple one-page business plan. You will find all the guidance you need to complete your simple, clear business in my book and in the on-line workbook. I suggest you start you planning there. Or, you can try to figure it out on your own. If figuring it out on your own is your choice, you can start with the video below. But really, my method is so much easier.
