Okay, so, despite what I say in my book, and my own personal leanings, you do not have to start a business to create a fabulous, meaningful life. Perhaps you just want to travel, experience new places, new people and new ideas to see how you might grow and change from such an adventure.
I have no problem with that.

Indeed is typical job search site. To look for remote work, use terms like “remote” and “work from home” along with your desired skill set in the advanced search.
Again, you will have to enter “remote” in your search terms. Entering the word remote and “Interactive Content Manager”(one of my skill sets), I discovered a job for a junior developer working for a company out of Las Vegas. You must be willing to work within the hours of 8AM-9PM Pacific Time.
The last line of the job description tells me the pay rate of $5/hour is firm. Enough to live frugally in a developing country but not enough to save up for a plane ticket home when the dream loses it glow.

Personally, except for one job posting for a writer to cover small business for Entrepreneur Magazine, most of these jobs give me the heebie-jeebies. That’s always been the case with me; that is why I started my own businesses. But starting a business is slow and risky and perhaps you are in a hurry to get gone. If so, look at these jobs as a way to build skills while seeing the world. Keep your business plan in mind and sell your time wisely. Good luck.
